Giles Ripley

Giles Ripley is an artist-filmmaker producing short films satirising post-modern human motivation and neurosis surrounding achievement. His films disarm with silliness but nevertheless connect to deeper uncomfortable emotions – fear of misinterpreting and not fulfilling one’s personal potential.
Meredith Gunderson has commissioned his latest film, I’M A WINNER!!!! (Why aren’t you?) which will premier in 2010 at Neville Brody’s Antidesign Festival, London, September 2010. Meredith Gunderson will host private and public screenings of the film at St. James Hotel & Club in October 2010. The artist lives and works in London.
